The four hundred and forty six bbl engine made a comeback with the 1970 Dodge Coronet but was available only as an option for both the road and track model and the Super Bee model.

In 1970, the road and track model came with a unique front end sheeting of metal. It also had a nice new grille, which was in a split style and also back fender scoop with sweet road and track symbols. The 1970 model also had a cool bumble stripe all over the back of the car. It came in both hardtop and convertible style like the previous 1969 model. The four hundred forty six pack engine and also the four hundred and twenty six hemi were now optional. One could also get the four speed manual transmission as an option as well. The great hardwearing suspension was a carry over from the previous 1969 model.

The 1970 Dodge Coronet road and track model came in thirteen standard hues. One also had the choice of five high impact tones which included the sublime, banana, hemi orange, go mango and the plum crazy. Options were also available for getting a vinyl roof in green, black, grain or the white hue. 1970 was the last time when the Dodge Coronet was manufactured. In the next year the Coronet was only offered as a station wagon or a four-door sedan. The 1970 road and track two door hardtop had a price label of three thousand five hundred and sixty nine dollars and the convertible ram for three thousand seven hundred and eighty five dollars. Almost two thousand three hundred models of the road and track hardtop models were produced in 1970 and ninety six of the convertible model were manufactured.

The 70 Coronet was an amazing power packed automobile that signaled the end of the line for such a well admired car.

This model came with the four hundred and forty cubic inch V8 six pack now. This engine was capable of giving three hundred and ninety units of horsepower and could take the car from zero to sixty in matter of just 6.6 seconds. The four hundred and twenty six engine was still present and came with four hundred and twenty five horsepower. Also available was the four hundred and forty cubic inch engine which was able to give three hundred and seventy five horsepower.

In 1969 sales faced a declining trend so only seven thousand two hundred and forty Coronets were produced by the company. In terms of style the 1969 Dodge Coronet didn’t change much from the previous models. The Dodge Coronet road and track and also the Super Bee models came with four hundred and twenty six cubic inch hemi V8 engine. Both had the option of a twin door coupe. Around one hundred and sixty of the coupes were produced in this year. The number of two door hardtops totaled to ninety four.

The 1969 Coronet road and track model could be either picked in hardtop or as a convertible option. The ramcharger air system came as an option with two hood scoop. The four hundred and forty cubic inch was standard but one could also go in for the hemi engine by shelling out four hundred and eighteen dollars. Now one could obtain the four speed manual transmission as an option. There was a huge variety of rear axle ratio in the 1969 model as well. If one wanted to improvise the standard ratio he could go for the performance axle option. The 1969 Dodge Coronet twin door hardtop model had a price tag of three thousand four hundred and forty two dollars and you needed to pay out three thousand six hundred and sixty dollars if you wanted to go in for the 1969 Coronet convertible model.

The 69 Coronet was without a doubt an incredible automobile from all aspects. It had an exceptionality, which made it stand out among other cars in its class, and was a favorite of many car buffs.

The hardwearing suspension and the bucket seats were some of the regular features that came with the 1968 Dodge Coronet. The restyling gave the 1968 Coronet a smooth look. This model had quadrangle headlamps which were fixed on to the grille. At the back the tail lamps were fitted with a good wide panel.

In this year around ten thousand of the Coronet road and track models were sold and around two hundred models of the four hundred and twenty six cubic inch V8 engine were produced. Just ninety four of Coronet convertibles were manufactured. The hemi models had great suspension but didn’t have the option of air conditioning. The 1968 model had a heavyweight brake system and came with a speed meter of one hundred and fifty mph. The 68 Coronet also came with unique power bulges.

The Coronet road and track and Coronet Super Bee were really performance oriented automobiles. The Coronet had a novel sheet metal in 68. It measured a little more in terms of length than its previous model and had better arcs too. The pane had superb style arcs which went all the way to back panel. Both these models came with chrome replicated back facing vent.

The 1968 Coronet came in both hardtop and convertible options. The interiors of this model were luxuriously designed and came with map lights, a clock, a tachometer and lots of chrome finishing. It was also available with both the four hundred and forty magnum and four hundred and twenty six hemi engine.

The Super Bee was very distinct from the Cornet road and track model. It was targeting young buyers who wanted some low-priced speed. The Super Bee had a hardwearing suspension system which came with huge torsion bar, good quality springs and shocks. The basic engine was the three hundred and eighty three cubic inches. One could also go in for the hemi engine but it called for huge cash. The double bumble bee stripe which went crosswise from the trunk to the pane looked really hot. This model was a huge hit among all young car lovers.

The 68 Coronet was a big hit, especially with the younger crowd.

The back end was given modest attention in the 1967 Dodge Coronet. In 1967, the road and track Dodge Coronet model and the short for road and track were introduced and had a price tag of $3200 if one opted for the twin door hardtop model-. The road and track convertible two door model was priced at $3440. Around ten thousand road and track models of the Dodge Coronet were sold during the year 1967.

The 1967 Coronet came with a 440 cubic inches V8 engine and could take the Coronet from zero to sixty in just a matter of seven seconds. The 375 horsepower was a hot choice but if someone wanted more power then the 426 cubic inches hemi engines could be an alternate which one could get just by paying $446. Around two hundred and thirty models of the 1967 Dodge Coronet were geared up with this type of engine, which was capable of giving 425 horsepower. Also around fifty models of the Coronet were produced in order to abide by some rules. These models came with a 440 cubic inch V8 engine which was able to give 375 units of horsepower.

The 1967 coronet road and track model was made from the base model of the Coronet. It came with a 117 inch wheelbase. This model was power packed with a 440 magnum engine which was capable of giving 375 horsepower. A hardwearing suspension system was another feature of this road and track model. The body was similar to the other previous models but had incredible headlamps which could retract. The badges were fitted onto the grill and also with the trunk.

The 67 Coronet was a superb automobile from all aspects. No wonder it’s well-liked by all new and old car buffs alike.

The 1966 Coronet was available in fifteen different hues. Bucket seats were a part of this model and were a highly desired option. One could either go in for a vinyl or a vinyl and cloth option for the car seats.

The Coronet Deluxe was also introduced this year as well. It was a mid range model that was sandwiched between the base model and the 440 model.

Also new this year was the four door option, which was a more popular option for families, but didn’t appeal to the younger demographic.

The 500 model was quite rare as only around 136 unites were ever produced.
